The Key to Happiness

TRA, Creative non-directive relationship therapy ®

The key to happiness begins with a better understanding of oneself and one’s needs. My goal as a therapist is to offer you compassionate listening and a safe space, filled with empathy and authenticity.
La clef du Bonheur

The key to happiness is not wanting to change others, it's changing oneself.

Do you feel responsible for the dissatisfactions or relational conflicts that mark your personal and professional life? To obtain peace and harmony, taking real responsibility involves changing your perspective towards external events and others to refocus on oneself. An introspective look and acceptance of oneself and others without judgment open the way to constructive changes to improve one’s life and feel free and serene.

Karman Au

TRA, Creative non-directive relationship therapist®

I am a Montreal-born Chinese lady. From a very young age, I have aspired to see the world flourish in happiness and relationships blossom through authentic communications. Thanks to my training at CRAM, I realized that this happiness and harmony begin with oneself.

My Objective

As a TRA, creative non-directive relationship therapistt®, my goal is to offer you compassionate listening. The key to happiness begins with a better understanding of oneself and one’s needs, which then leads to the proper identification of the true sources of one’s problems.

The therapeutic relationship

This journey is doubly facilitated by the therapeutic relationship because I create a safe space, imbued with empathy, non-judgment, and authenticity, conducive to the free and open exploration of your thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Non-Directive Approach

Colette Portelance’s Creative Non-Directive Approach (CNDA) is characterized by an emotionally rich relational approach, inspired by the work of psychologist Carl Rogers. It is based on the fundamental idea that each individual possesses within themselves the necessary resources for their personal growth and holds the power to direct their own life.
To acquire or regain self-understanding and take stock by taking a dedicated moment for oneself, pausing from daily life within a safe therapeutic space, thus fostering a new perspective.

The objective of this method is to promote:

– Taking action
– Overcoming fears
– Expanding the comfort zone
– Satisfying needs
– Achieving one’s projects and dreams

A projective method created from images. An approach that explores a specific question.

A comprehensive method for harmonizing the rational and irrational worlds. Very useful at a particular moment in your life when you feel lost and indecisive.
